It seems no matter how much water I drink before/during performance, my mouth always gets extremely dry. Does anyone have any advice that might help this problem ?
Thanks!~

Posted: 4/10/05 at 11:31pmNo, I wouldn't say it's nerves... I remember reading awhile back that Sutton Foster used some kind of candy or something during her shows. Anyone know anything about this?

Cough drops.
Cough drops will do double duty--they'll get you salivating AND help your throat open up.

Use something like Vitamin C drops or something. That should do the trick.
There's something specifically for Dry Mouth as well. I saw it once at Whole Foods and, if I'm not mistaken, it's something like Singer's Salvation.

Guaifenesin, the singer's drug. It keeps your vocal cords lubricated when you're trying to get through eight shows a week with a cold or the flu.
