rentboy- that's so awesome! i hope you find them as insightful as i do... i've read four of his books, and i can't recommend them enough... i just finished Let The Sun Shine In: The Genius of Hair for the second time and that one is great too

Just so we know, the recording of SFANW on Billy Porter's website is from a concert version with Emily Skinner, Jason Daniely and Marin Mazzie with full orchestrations. (I think it's Jason)

thanks for that bj. i definitely thought emily and marin would have sung the opposite parts that they did. the songs would've seemed more suited that way. i'm so intrigued to hear the rest of that concert now!
I went to Billy's website and couldn't find it. Can somebody tell me where to look?

in music, then he has a recording of king of the world on his joe's pub recording and the opening and 1492 in "other songs"
the latter two are with emily, marin and jason.
