Just a quick one, I promise. I am going to NYC over Labor Day weekend and have been scoping out various shows to buy tickets for...there are alot of Wicked tickets on Ebay for the partial view seats, so has anybody here ever sat in one of those seats and does it make a huge difference? I am just worried about not actually getting to see the show. My friend and I tried for the lottery everyday for a week last month when I was there, but had no success.
So, how bad is partial view? Thanks!!!
The partial view is definately worth it. But honestly the shows not in great shape right now. I loved it with Idina and Kristin. I loved it with Shoshana and Megan. But I saw it two weeks ago by winning the lotto on my first try ever and yea Eden's understudy was there and it just didn't do anything for me. I was really bored and couldn't wait for it to end. So I would suggest playing the lotto and if you don't win wait for the cast to change.
The partial view is definately worth it.
Some even say it is definitely worth it.

Thank you so much for your input! I'm going half on the tickets with my friend, but I get to pick them
So, perhaps I'll just get the partial view...especially with the cast. You guys are great!
Well, opinions on the present cast aside... if you do a search with "Wicked partial view", you can find a bunch of threads on this, including specific seats and which side of the theatre people prefer, ie. BB5 (house left) vs. BB6 etc. I found it kind of interesting when looking up what people thought of BB5, which I've sat it before. I'm going the weekend after you and bought a BB6, since someone said they liked it better than BB5 (with regards to what you "miss" in the back). I must admit, they had some good points (aka the stairs being annoyingly in the way). We'll see how I fare at BB6.
I looked it up out of curiosity, and it doesn't look like there's anything left in partial view for that weekend. Unless ticketmaster is screwing wih my head again
