With those numbers and the fact that it hasn't been announced yet; its not looking good.

Really? I'd say with how poorly this show has been doing since opening, anything is possible. Clearly the production team isn't focused just on commercial success of the broadway production.

Considering, too, how the lyrics are original in translation and the arrangements are, if not brand new, at least heavily reorchestrated based on Shlomo's original recordings I've found on YouTube, I kind of wouldn't be surprised if a recording is made to preserve that work.

Also, say what we will about the show itself and it's financial woes, but the band is pretty clearly to me the best part of the show, as is so often the case with bad musicals.

Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
