spelling bee art

I was just wondering why the artwork used to display ads and such for "...spelling bee" lack Olive O. on them? She is such an important character yet they leave her off? I saw a picture of the same art that they use now with her on it on Lisa Howard's website but I havent seen it used anywhere else.

Anyone have any info?

I didn't know there was another version of the artwork... I went to Lisa Howard's website, and lo and behold! I wonder why they don't use that one? Maybe someone thought it was too busy or something... maybe they just wanted the microphone ominously lurking there instead of having Olive at it. But I don't know... that's interesting, though.

i have to say that i've always wondered the exact same thing and i love the logo on her website for that reason.

I had never seen the one on her website either until you mentioned it - I do like it better. I can see why they would want to go with the "scariness" of the open mic, but it's a shame Olive's character can't be a part as well.
