stage door autographs

hey! ok, so i will be going to new york, and am going to see Hairspray on January 3, and i think we are going to the evening show... so i know they come out of the stage door for autographs then.. but, i really want to see 13 that day too, and if you go to a matinee, do they come out of the stage door for autographs? or do they usually stay at the theatre and only come out after the evening performance?

The kids of 13 are rock stars who are chased down the street after any matinee or evening performance. And they're more than happy to oblige their fans.

ok, so they DO come out after matinees?
i mean, they are around 13 and so they seem like they would be humble and like any attention :)
i just hope they do come out cuz i want to meet em!!!

i dont know if you personally saw it, but if you did, I have a question for you, or anyone who has seen the matinee performance...
Does the whole cast remain the same? i heard somewhere that possibly the understudies for the major characters perform the matinees... but I didn't now if this was just for a special occasion or what

There's a matinee alternate for the lead role. But not to worry, the kid is proven talent: he was Billy Elliot in the West End and Australia.

ok, but its only for Evan? and not Patrice? im not sure if i even like graham all too much anyways.. but i really LOVE allie :)

yes, if you see a weekday matinee, Corey J. Snide will be on as Evan Goldman instead of Graham Phillips who normally plays the lead. none of the other characters have this though. so yes allie trimm should be performing unless she has an understudy in for that show.
