i'm seeing two shows this weekend and was dying to stage door. After reading about the rain i'm crushed. Any idea if the actors will stage door if it rains? I'm seeing Wicked on Friday and Waitress on saturday (matinee) and was planning on going to the hamilton stage door as well, because when i saw it in december only 4 people came out and my sister wants to meet more people. thank you!!

Most likely very few will stay around to sign. If I was an actor in a show and I had 2 shows that day. I would not be standing around in the chilly rain.
Bring an umbrella and try to concentrate your happiness on the part of the theatre experience that you're paying for, not the bonus after-show.
I've been at some stage-doors where the bodyguard will hold a star's umbrella over them while they sign. Other actors will just tough it out and sign in the rain anyway. Depends on the degree of rain though, and of course each actor's preference. Don't expect too much, but it isn't necessarily a done deal.

If the weather is such that a person would not want to be stuck outside, it would be inconsiderate to create a need for a person to be outside.
