i know this sounds a little odd, but my mom and i want to go see master class and i saw that they do student rush as well as the 30 under 30 (or whatever it's called) program. but unfortunately my mother is neither a)a student or b)30 and under.
but for rush, it's up to two per person. sooo i was wondering if i could buy both of the tickets and sneak my mom in? does this work? or totally stupid idea...
I believe that most student rush policies only apply to the person actually buying the tickets. LincTix and HipTix both specify that everyone using the tickets must be within the age requirements, but I don't think MTC has any policy in place like that about student rush.

You wouldn't have to sneak her in... she can use a student rush ticket as long as she is with a student.

If you stand in the student rush line, make sure you have your student I.D. (they will ask to see it). But, when you go to the show, no sneaking is needed. You and your mom will have tickets, and you'll walk right in. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and it's wonderful!!! Enjoy!
I rushed A Little Night Music last August, and I bought the tickets as the student for my mom (45) and myself, and we weren't questioned.

I don't think I have ever been to a show where they ID you walking through the door. So long as a student is buying the tickets then your fine.
