stupid question about Actors' Fund performances
#0stupid question about Actors' Fund performances
Posted: 9/6/05 at 7:05pmI know these are stupid questions, but since I've never been to one of the extra performances on behalf of the Actors' Fund, I thought I'd ask. Would one expect that these performances are different than other performances (curtain speeches, more celebs in the audience, etc)? Are these performances discounted by the usual mechanisms (broadwaybox-type discounts, TKTS, etc)? (If not, I would imagine that some of these performances are somewhat sparsely attended.)

There are no such things as stupid questions (well, with the exception of some of Wicked questions I've seen on here... just kidding, I have nothing against Wicked or it's fans, I just wanted to beat everbody to it... don't be mean to me, I just came from a really terrible audition
).

seems to be that the actors funds benefits are perfect times for other actors in other shows to see shows they wouldn't be able to see otherwise because of same performance schedule.
or is that just a duh thing, and i was the dumb one who actually took time to write it out? lol... it's late, i'm rambling. :)
