Posted: 1/7/06 at 4:18pmI am going to NY on January 27th, and would like to get two tickets for Sweeney Todd on Sat Jan 28th matinee. I heard this show has been on the tkts boards lately, do you think I have a chance? I don't want to pay a lot, but really want to go. Any advice?

Posted: 1/7/06 at 4:34pmIn November I went to the box office exactly 5 minutes before show time for a Saturday matinee and I got box seats. AMAZING view.
And the other thing about the Phantom Lady was, Bert, she realized, in the city that never sleeps...

That all the songs she'd listened to, all the love songs, that they were only songs.
What's wrong with that?
Nothing, if you don't believe in them. But she did, you see. She believed in enchanted evenings, and she believed that a small cloud passed overhead and cried down on a flower bed, and she even believed there was breakfast to be had...

Posted: 1/7/06 at 8:10pmRear mezz seats are available for $36, and you can buy those tickets in advance (from TeleCharge or the box office). I saw the show today that way. The show has also been at TKTS lately(it was today). Good luck!
