Posted: 2/23/05 at 9:13pmSydney (Brian D'Arcy James' character) gets bumped off at the end of the show.... basically because JJ (John Lithgow's character) wants him gone..... if I remember.

Posted: 2/23/05 at 9:54pmI really enjoyd it. For a while I thought I was the only one, until I came to this website and found that it has a lot of fans.

Posted: 2/23/05 at 9:56pmMany moments in the score were stunning. Some nice performances from the leads. The show itself however was a mess. Especially the use of the chorus as a greek chorus commenting on the action. At least one clunker in the score that should have been cut (the embarassing "Don't Look Now").

Posted: 2/23/05 at 9:57pmI saw the pre-broadway try out, and it was a good/solid show. The music is great, but the plot was kind of all over the place.

Posted: 2/23/05 at 9:59pmI do agree that "Don't Look Know" should have been cut. But songs like "For Susan", "What If" and "I Cannot Hear The City" are terrific. The performances are great: what John Lithgow lacks in singing he makes up in impeccable acting. Brian D'Arcy James and, especially Kelli O'Hara, were ravishing. The cast album is definitely worth buying.
