I was just in OOTI and I remember being told- African dance is very low to the ground, lots of hunching over- they loved being close to the earth- So i was told- hense worshiping the Goddess of the Earth. Uumm- stay low, stay low they always yelled. No one should look like they're doing ballet- it doesnt make sence with the music or story. Take the story line, maybe be a little literal with the lyrics?
These people live on an island, and dance for everything- when it rains, for the crops to grow, love, to pray to live, when they have nothing else to do, they dance....well- thats just my two cents.
