i wanted to know if anyone can tell me the info about the color purple rush tickets. i know all the basics...like get there when the box office opens for matinees and they are usually located in the front 2 rows. i want to know what time you'd suggest to get there if i want to see a matinee tomorrow (wednesday the 28th)? i'm coming in from queens, but my 2 friends are coming from way out on long island. i don't want to make them wake up at the crack of dawn if it's uneccessary. is 10am early enough? thanks!
GOOOOOOOO EARLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY! I went early and i was 5th in line and i got front row center seats, and they were the best seats in the house.
Stop worrying if your vision is new.
Let others make that decision-
They usually do.
You keep moving on.
Anything you do,
Let it come from you.
Then it will be new.
Give us more to see...

Well I live in Syracuse, NY and left my house at 4:00 AM, got to NYC by 8:15 and was in line by 8:30... This was for a Saturday matinee and I was the second person in line. Keep in mind, people can buy 2 tickets each so you would want to get their early incase everyone in front of you is purchasing 2 tickets. By the time the box office opended there were probably a good 50 people in line. This was Thanksgiving week on a Saturday which is also a busy time so I would say get there at 8:00 to be safe.
since you're asking about Wed matinee: I rushed two Wednesdays ago, but for the evening show. When I got to the box office at 10:03am there were 20-25 people in line in front of me; not everyone was rushing but that line included two people already there for the evening rush (which goes on sale at noon). And this was just a regular Wednesday, it was not the Wed of Thanksgiving or of Christmas week or anything.
I agree with the 8am people have already suggested above.
