please you guys, i'm really in need of some help..and hopefully you fellow theatre-lovers know some stuff that i don't.
okay, so i'm doing a monologue at my syracuse audition (which is on saturday! icky!) from a play called "the florist shop" by winifred hawkridge. the character is maude, and she's picking up the phone at a florist shop (surprise!) and she learns she has to make an flower arrangemnt for a baby's funeral. if ANYONE knows ANYTHING about this play (summary, characters, etc)i would appreciate it so much. i have to do this monologue seeing as i don't have time to learn another one, and i also need to get it right.
thank you all so much,
maggie
ps- i've tried searching online for summaries and the like, but couldn't find any anywhere. if you search and find something PLEASE give me the link! thanks!
