has anyone seen this show? what is your opinion of it?

Saw it and thought it was ok. The premise gets old fast.

It was ok.

It was funny to watch the other theater-goers laugh much harder than necessary, just so they could show other people how well they knew their broadway.

If you really know your composers and shows then it's funny, if you don't then it's pretty pointless. It's a very clever show, but I didn't enjoy it that much

I agree that it gets old real fast. I believe that Forbidden Broadway is much more effective, in parodying and using the styles of various composers.

I know that Musical of Musicals is not a parody as much as it an exploration of the different styles of composers, but it felt more like parody to me as so much of it seemed to be about the physical aspects of a 'Jerry Herman show' or a 'Kander & Ebb show', etc.
