erinbec...that is what I thought too, but the person I talk to yesterday said broadway was in the works. I asked if he meant off-broadway, and he said, "no". So we will see what happens.

sweet...thank you for the info and the link. you are great.

for some reason I have a recollection of NPH associated with this show...or did he do a RENT stint? if he was truly attached, it might make B'way, but with the lack of houses for musicals right now...and his filming schedule (unless the sitcom was cancelled)...it seems a long shot.

texas...I heard yesterday that NPH was supposed to do this run, but something came up and they went with Andrew S., who is amazing in the role, word has it that the NYC run is not a good time for Andrew and he is committed to something else, so NPH is considering the front end of the NYC run with Andrew coming back when he is available.

all this is just buzz, but the show is so good it is worth talking about.

NPH did the show in London last summer. One thing you have to remember is that people 'talk' all the time about plans to take shows to Broadway but 99% of them never happen. It's very unlikely, as I said, that TTB will ever be on Broadway. If they're already talking specific dates as you've indicated, simplejoys, it's just not realistic. A theatre would already have to have been planned for and that just hasn't happened. It's too small a show and wasn't even successful off-Broadway just a few years ago. Don't hold your breath, kids.

here's my mean-spirited bet: the Snapple Theatre will be available soon (but I think it is off-B'way).
