I am leaving soon for NYC with my aunt and possibly my mom. Our train will get there around...11:00ish. Do you guys think thats enough time to stand at the tkts booth and get half price tickets for a show? Also, would any of you know what shows the ticket booth has today? Also, we would possibly go see a night show also, the problem lies in getting tickets for that. Is it true that when you get at the tickets counter, you can only buy for the matinee and if you want an evening show, you have to go back after 3? And last but not least. I haven't seen Wicked yet and would love to. Do any of you know how good the chances are for the cancelaton line and what time they open? And also, do they have lotto/rush tickets too like Avenue Q does?
Thanks.
I wouldn't be surprised if "Virginia Woolf" were off the TKTS line today. They are probably papering it because it opens tomorrow evening.
Wicked and Ave. Q are Not available.
YEs, you have to go after 3 for an evening performance.
(But, the South Street Seaport TKTS booth has less of a line, because not many people know about it.)

Wicked does have a cancellation line and a lottery. Lottery is at 1:00 for the 3:00 show, they don't have an evening show
