Posted: 1/19/04 at 10:03amA show I had to badger you into seeing again after you trashed it on the old board for six months. Don't it always seem to go, that you don't know what you've got til it's gone?

No I did not go because of you. I went for Jim.
The first time I saw it Spencer was out. I went three times and the last 2 times Spencer was in it.
Spencer was incredible as Little Sally.
I am going to miss it.
Urinetown was peefect. Sigh!

Isn't it time for a Joni Mitchell cut and paste show?
(Kidding, really)

Hey Sueleen,
I hate to tell you, but the cut'n'paste Joni Mitchell show already exists. It's called "When All The Slaves Are Free" and it was created by Bryden Macdonald as something of a biography for Mitchell... it premiered here in Ottawa (Canada) last year.
Of course, it will likely never be seen anywhere else... ![]()

Posted: 1/19/04 at 11:54amI meant a Mama Mia type thing where all the middle aged women reflect on their lost loves and youth while singing into hair brushes and wear wampum beads and have names like Estrella, and Trina and Amelia...

Posted: 1/19/04 at 12:15pmI wish that I lived in NYC, I didn't ever get to see Urinetown, I saw Wicked and Avenue Q instead... I would have loved to catch it though.

Posted: 1/19/04 at 2:45pmI was there. Becky giving birth to the black baby was probably my favorite moment in Broadway viewing history, haha. Although I kinda had a feeling something like that would happen. Very good last performance.

I had theater withdrawl. I have not seen a show in three weeks.
A record for me. So I went to try and get tickets for Q YESTERDAY.
It was sold out.
