re: well...Drew Sarich went on as Lestat tonight...

Like, I kind of think that Jim's Louis is "in love" with Claudia. She's his companion, and Lestat, as much as they care for him, is the third wheel, the maker, if you will.

Chris' Louis was focused on Lestat. His relationship with Allison as Claudia seemed more fatherly...

I'm glad Chris Peluso got to go on as Louis. I saw him several years ago in 1776 and he was great.

I heard somewhere that Jim Stanek's wife was having her baby tonight, which is why he didn't do the show. Is there any truth to that? If so, congrats to them both!

A huge, huge, HUGE congratulations to Jim & his wife on the birth of their son. :) How exciting for them.

And what a bittersweet and incredibly memorable weekend this is turning out to be for a good majority of the cast, hm? Fingers crossed for a full cast tomorrow.

I'm sorry. I'm tired and drunk. Can someone please recap the FACTS for me?

If I'm correct:

May 27 Matinee
Lestat: Drew Sarich
Armand: Sean MacLaughlin
Louis: Jim Stanek

May 27 Evening:
Lestat: Hugh Panaro (Act 1), Drew Sarich(Act 2)
Armand: Drew Sarich (Act 1), Sean MacLaughlin (Act 2)
Louis: Chris Peluso

Am I missing something? Am I incorrect?
And TOMORROW is closing?!?!
Damn, how are people hanging on to their hats with so much to second-guess in casting! WOW! How exciting. Can someone fill me in if my casting (above) is incorrect?

I think the split show was the 26 and Drew did both performances on the 27th

As I'm in the UK I could be completely wrong, but thats what I've understood.

I don't know, I felt for Hugh's Lestat through it all. I thought he did a great job in conveying Lestat's faults, but still seeing his good points to feel for him. I hope Hugh can go on today.
