I think a lot of people take time off, doing other projects. The grind of an eight show week, especially bouncing from show to show can take it out of you and (dare I say) burn you out. It's fun to step away and come back fresh.

Plus, Lachanze, for example has a family. ANd again, when you are doing a show, there isn't much time for fun "mommy" things. LBB is recording an album. Other people might be exploring (easier) aspects of showbusiness, like film or television. Like the theater world, it's hard to break into ....

I hate to get off topic, but now that we're all talking about the all so amazing Miss Laura Bell. Is there any chance she might return for maybe the last show of Legally Blonde? I was hoping she could do like a duet with Bailey during "So Much Better". That would be awesome! Has anyone heard any chitty chatter?

LBB has been out of the show for like 3 months. It's not like she has been gone for years. And she isn't that amazing. And she has better things to do than perform at the last show of Legally Blonde with Bailey.
