For some reason I cannot explain, my throat tightens up on the melody of "It's a Fine Life" from "Oliver" when Nancy sings "Not for me, the happy home, happy husband, happy wife..." It gets me every time.
I also love practically anything from "Irma La Douce" including especially the title song. Boy that Maugerite Monnot sure knew how to write a damn fine melody (she also wrote for Edith Piaf.)
