what is best seating for WIW?

I'm so excited. I'm getting to NYC this weekend to see WIW. I was just wondering where the best seating is in the theater since the projections are used. Any input from those of you who have been? Also, any news on whether the leads will be on this weekend? I've heard Michael and Maria have been out.

darn! I really wanted to see her. Is the understudy good? I'm sure they all are. I hope Angela will be there and it would be great if Maria and Michael were. Thanks for the info.

Yes! Elena Shaddow will be on for both shows- she's fantastic, absolutely worth seeing.

thank you...and I know everybody is not crazy about this show but I've loved every other ALW musical and I love the CD so I'm not worried. Still, do you think it's better to sit in the orchestra or the mezzanine in regards to the projections?

ummm I'd say front mezz. if you can get it, but you definetely get the entire effect from anywhere in the theater, so don't worry about that. Just get the best seats you can so see the actors I think... and enjoy!

you can't buy tickets on the phone through the box office... you can GO there in person- so yes, do that...

Because of the "special effects", you really don't want to sit too close. I saw it from Row N and that was a good perspective.

I just came back from seeing the show and it's really slow at first but it gets alot better and is definately worth seeing. Both leads were out but the understudies were fantastic. I sat in the front row in the mezzanine and it's great because it's really close to the stage.

sit center section any where in the mezz and you will have a great view..... don't pay attention to the set because it is distracting!

I sat row D of the mezzanine and they were very good seats (albeit, dead center).
