Quite easy, really. When someone is NEW to the musical theatre experience, they don't simply acquire the entire Broadway CD repetoire overnight. It is a slow process.

So thankful I saw Jennifer Holliday in DREAMGIRLS. Actually saw the revival twice - Lilias White was wonderful too (live).
