Mine is of my nearly 14 year old dog Sarah. It was taken a few years ago, but she still looks darn good and is quite frisky. I should be so lucky when I'm her age in human years!
Last5Yrs...you mean the part when Sherie goes, "No I'm not! NO I'M NOT! And the point is Jamie you can't spend a single day that's not about YOU AND YOU AND NOTHING BUT YOU! Marvelous, novelist YOU!" (When I first heard that, I used to think she was saying "marvelous, novelist JEW", haha)
There are some lines that girl sings that I just love the way she says them for some reason...in Summer in Ohio when she goes, "NO! It's not Nirvana, but it's on the way" I love how she says "NO!" And I love her voice at the end of the very last song as well...she's just an incredible performer. I never got to see her in L5Y, Aida, or Debbie, so I was thrilled to see her at the closing night of the Sh-k-boom concert. She did a medley of Mr. Rogers songs and I realized what a brilliant performer she really is...who else could make Mr. Rogers sound sultry?
If you appreciate Sherie's vocal techniques, I have a feeling you're a Felicia Finley fan waiting to be born. Felicia does some unique things as well with Amneris you should defintley try to find. For example in A Step Too Far, she's the first one to hold the "an" in romantic leads.
I love Felicia! Check my profile, she's listed as one of my favorites :) I saw her play Amneris 3 times (the other time I saw Darcie Roberts). I LOVED how she did "Every Story is a Love Story". She sounded different from the original, but she was just belting her heart out on that one.
Cannot WAIT until Temptation comes out :) Felicia, Adam, Sebastian and a million others all in the same movie?!?!?!? HELLO!
LOL! I know! Temptation is gonna kick ass. Isn't Manley Pope in it too? I think he plays the nasty boyfriend. I only saw Felicia once. The other time I saw Mandy Gonzalez. Both awesome. How was Darcie Roberts? I heard her "A Step Too Far" and she did some cutesy Betty Boop thing with it that made absolutely no sense.
Oh, NativeNewYorker, I completely agree with you about Sherie. I was there at the Zipper, too, and her Mr. Rodgers Medley was amazing! Made me a fan!
