wicked

How obstructed would the view be from the last 2 seats of orchestra right row F?

If I have to pick another show to treat someone to, what would be your runner-up?

re: wicked

I think the Wicked official site says it pretty clearly "There are a limited number of Side Orchestra seats that are considered partially limited-view. Available at $55 for all performances. In these seats, you will miss sections of the back of the scenic design, however you will not miss the primary action that takes place in the show."

re: wicked

lol.. yes.. but people dont read this.. and the site kinda lies.. you really dont miss anything

re: wicked

Actually, from DD I did miss parts of the back of the scenic design. For example, I missed Elphaba's first appearance until she's actually out in the front of the stage. I couldn't see about 30% of the action, but it's still worth it for $55.

And it was still damn stupid to start a new thread on the exact same topic as you posted ONE HOUR EARLIER.

re: wicked

sorry - trying to do too many things at once. lost track!

re: wicked

You do miss some things, I probably would not recommend seeing it the first time from partial. But its definately worth it, you don't miss any of the storyline. When I sat in partial view the main thing I missed was when Elphaba comes onstage during Dancing Through Life.

re: wicked

ive sat in partial view 3 times and center orch twice.. you BARELY miss anything

re: wicked

a) It matters how far to the side you are.

b) It matters which row you're in. Gershwin offers partial viewing from rows AA to H.

Our definitions of "barely" (or "BARELY") may be different. The point remains the same - it's still worth it for the money.
