i heard a rumor that the sheet music is coming out this week too?? could this be true? They gave out the WICKED cds to the staff tonight... which means the theater should have them soon... =D

I CANT WAIT FOR THE SHEET MUSIC!

I just got an email from amazon saying that my Wicked CD has been shipped already!! Thats like 5 days early. They usually take 8 days to get from Amazon to me, and considering that mail is slow at this time of year I think I'll be lucky to get it by Christmas. But still, its good that they're going out early, I didnt expect it to be shipped til the 16th/17th at best.

What makes you so special?

I just checked my amazon account. I've got four Wicked CD's ordered and they haven't yet been shipped. I'm jealous. I want mine NOW!

And the sheet music would be just plain cool! If it does indeed get published in the next few weeks I'll pick it up at the theatre when I'm there on the 7th.

Bad News, I called Colony Music, (because i call there all the time to make sure that i haven't missed anything) and:
Me: "Any word on the Wicked SHeet Music?"
Music Guy: "Nope, its in the process but no word yet on when its coming out."

and these guys know everything in terms of sheet music... SOOOO. i'm soo sad too, but just so you all know...

yes the theater has had the cds for quite some time now, and the sheet music will be available to the public soon.

Correction- the Gershwin theater has NOT had the CD's for some time now. On their list of merchandise, it says CD, but since it hasn't been released yet, what they give are papers for you to pre order your copy.

I really don't know! But I think it's probably be to do with it being shipped internationally. There's no way it'll arrive before (or anywhere near, for that matter) it's release date so maybe they're allowed to ship early.
