Posted: 7/25/05 at 10:11pmThere isn't a double because you can see it's bernadette in the dvd. i believe the hands and face are in someway connceted to the costume and then it is taken off to reveal the white dress.

Posted: 7/25/05 at 10:48pmwicked geek, they edited the dvd a bit, it was not entirely shot live. the way it essentially works is that for the scene or two before the transformation an extra in a mask and cloak fills in while the actress playing the witch gets changed and as you speculated puts on a cloak with a connected mask and gloves and comes back out in time to transform

Posted: 7/25/05 at 11:14pmIn the original, the Witch went offstage to bring the dead cow back to life. Ath that time she was replaced by a double while she did her costume and makeup change. She spoke her lines from offstage while the double lip synched them.
