Oh lord, if you think that Les Mis production is the worst thing you've ever seen just be happy you missed my high school putting on Company! At least those people can sing on key-maybe two people in our production could. Trying to stay on pitch while singing with Bobby was, I don't even know, impossible. BUT we have way better actors. Incredible actors+tragic singers=amazing plays, horrid and I repeat horrid musicals.

Those pic.s of CHICAGO from the Apllause Theatre are...so...SCARY!!! It will be hard to sleep for while. Esp. after seeing that guy attempt to do the Fosse pose...OH. DEAR. GOD.
Look what I found, the Hempstead High School's (the same school that did the HORRIBLE production of Les Miserables) 2005 Show "Godspell". It looks just as bad! There's nearly 100 people on stage!!!

Well, you had to have seen both of these productions of the shows before you judge and I did.
So does that mean you saw them? How was it in person?

My former girlfriend once told me about a horrible high school production of "Jesus Christ Superstar" that she appeared in.
I'm not familiar with the show, but evidently there's a scene in the show where Jesus is up on the cross and a chorus of Roman guards are dancing around him stabbing him with fake spears. Somehow at one performance a REAL spear used elsewhere in the show got mixed up with the fake ones: so at one point in the dance the Roman guard with the real spear stabs at the actor playing Jesus and the actor UP ON THE CROSS playing Jesus screams at the top of his lungs :
"JESUS CHRIST! SH*T!!! I'VE BEEN STABBED!!!
Horrible, but I'm laughing just writing this.

WOW --- I just watched the Les Miz video from that one school. I haven't laughed that hard in a LONG time. The director...words can't describe. "Die slower. Die longer. Die more spaced out." And Fantine kinda just flopped over when she died. It made me giggle. And the pit...
I'm going to watch Godspell now. I just love bad theatre.
oh goodness...watching the Les Mis Right now..."One Day More" is a bit of a mess, isn't it?
EDIT: After seeing the whole thing...hmmm...all of it is a bit of a mess..I think that is the first time I've ever laughed at Fantine's death...she goes kinda suddenly.

yes, she does go kinda "suddenly" haha. Godspell's pretty funny too. I just got done watching it. Right when you think you couldn't fit any more kids on the stage, about 20 more come up from the audience!
And I have to say, that choreography has got to be the best around.
