www.footlight.com - BEST cast recording source in the U.S. Use it!

Hi All,

I have to plug www.footlight.com because I am seeing a lot of people who are using amazon.co.uk to order items from the U.K., such as 'The Woman in White'. Your best source in the U.S. is www.footlight.com, absolutely. They have everything...literally. And, shipment is very quick. I got 'The Woman in White' in 3-days! It's a tad cheaper than dress circle or amazon.co.uk.

I am in no way affiliated with footlight, but someone told me about them a few years ago, and it was the best info I ever received.

Check it out! The have ALL cast recordings!

I agree. Footlight is superb. And shipment is ALWAYS lightning fast. Bravo!

Footlight is great, but I ordered "The Woman In White" on Amazon.uk as it was about $15 cheaper.

Well, I am one of those people who has to have things pronto...so I'll spend $15 to shorten my wait to 3-days as opposed to God knows how long.

I check footlight weekly, because they have all sorts of cool stuff.

I have ordered stuff from Amazon.uk before and only had a problem once (with a Frances Ruffelle single). They are usually pretty quick, not Footlight quick, but quick.

I agree they have the best selection and get things quickly. My big complaint that most people I have dealt with there have been unhelpful.

I once enqired about the Chess DVD in Swedish which said on their website was US compatible, I called by phone to confirm this and then ordered it but when I got to the store to pick it up they said it wasn't US compatible. Everyone was passing the blame on one another when I called them on their mistake- so unprofessional. I demanded a credit- I could not use a DVD that I can't play! They gave me such a hard time about a credit.

I'd still shop there though- even with other bad experiences...

has anyone been to the actual Footlight store? i think it's on east 12th street or somewhere in the vicinity. I keep meaning to go but never seem to find the time. anyone who has been, is it massive? are the prices/inventory the same as online?

Footlights website AND store are both awesome! Check out the store if you're ever in the village. The only thing I find wrong with them, is their prices are a tad on the high side.....
