No one knows specifically, because it isn't listed, but I think, actually, that it's the same people that sing "Fast." I say this because both songs happen in the same scene, and "I Could Write Books" follows "Fast" immediately. Then it would be one girl and two guys. I actually think it might be Amanda Ryan and Robb Sapp (because he's a tenor). They wouldn't have Kate or Roberta do it because they're principal characters.
ANYWHOM, to sum that up...I'm pretty sure that it's one guy (a tenor) and a girl singing backup, but even if it is, you could probably change it to two girls.

actually, Mike sings I Could Write Books. Tank, Candy, and Buck (or is it Bob? I can never tell) sing Fast, so it's impossible that it's the same three people.
I know it's either 2 girls singing backup or 3 - I can hear Kate and Roberta's voices for sure but am having the hardest time seeing if there's a third part or if I'm making it up, lol.

I can't help with your question, sorry, but I have my own.
I've heard rumors of Zanna coming back to broadway this summer... anyone know anything about it?

Posted: 3/6/06 at 2:52amI think its great. I got the CD from the library. I really like "I think its love" and "don't ask don't tell" but the rest of the score is just okay. I think with some reworking it could be great. I think if some of the cheesiness was toned down, it could be great.

"Be a Man" makes me laugh every time... and I really like the more tragic songs like "I could write books" and "Someday you might love me." Another favorite is "Do you think we can fall in love."
I would love to see this show so much!

I think you had to see the whole production to fully appreciate the cheese factor. My vague recollection is that pretty much the whole set was bright pink. (?)
In any case, there was a significant element of camp int he show.
(one of my faves, by the way. guilty pleasure :)
