Filmed Performances Feb 25

Thanks for the great suggestions thus far. I should have been more specific and said "filmed live in the theater with an audience in attendance" (I don't think there is a Pirates of P version with Kline other than the feature, is there?). Any more suggestions are appreciated.

Filmed Performances Feb 25

Hoping to get a little help here for a report I'm putting together. Could people give names of live performances that were successfully (subjective, I know) filmed for film/tv. Examples: Leguizamo's FREAK, Lonny Price's SWEENEY concert, the original SWEENEY with Angela and George Hearn etc. Any examples of good theater to film tapings would be very helpful. Thank you.

Michael Mayer's production at the Roundabout was just about perfect, in my opinion. Very interested to see what they do with it this time. Brilliant play!

Anne Hathaway Nov 10

I remember seeing her in CARNIVAL at City Center a few years ago, and the girl did more than hold her own opposite the likes of Brian Stokes Mitchell and Douglas Sills. While it would seem more obvious to throw her in some ingenue role in a musical, I think she has the chops to hold her own in a straight play on Broadway. Any thoughts as to what roles she might shine in? (haters need

Hello out there Broadwayworld: Any help you can lend with the following would be greatly appreciated: I am trying to compile a list of the greatest tour de force roles for men in the theater. Rich plays with FANTASTIC roles. Think Cyrano, RIchard III, Willy Loman, Eddie (View From The Bridge)...those kind of roles! Any help would be much appreciated. -The Golden One
