Not a fan of the artwork.

If this is one of those productions where the idea of an apartment is "suggested," by 2 chairs and a table, I'm gonna be totally pissed.

Michael Mayer's production at the Roundabout was just about perfect, in my opinion. Very interested to see what they do with it this time. Brilliant play!
Uh, what does it even symbolize? It looks like a cover for science fiction paperback. Something by Michael Crichton about quantum physicists or time travel or something.
NEVER judge a book (or in this case play) by it's cover (or in this case poster artwork).

First of all I assume that its meant to represent the cables of a bridge. Also I doubt this is the final artwork. With two big stars involved I assume they will use their images to sell some tickets.

I'm sure this isn't the final artwork. I'm sure it's just SOMETHING they're using to put on the website. But no matter which way you paint it... it just doesn't make any sense. And, like Kad said, it looks like the cover of a science fiction novel. Just... what?
It doesn't much matter what the artwork is. It's playing at the Cort, nobody is going to see the artwork anyway. I know it has Scarlett & Liev, but I'll be surprised if this sells out the Cort.
The play was done 10 yrs ago on Bway, and the economic climate seems to be making its way to Bway the last couple of months (unless you're Hugh Jackman or a green witch of course.)
Yankee, you're probably right. Minimalism is the "thing" nowadays. Which sucks, because I love me a huge massive set.

Especially since I'm still raving the London production last winter. Huge set. The outside walls of the apartment building rose to reveal the inside.
I find it annoying when there are two people in a promotional picture and the names are opposite the actual person. I know contracts and all determine who goes on the left and who goes on the right, but can't they make a picture that matches that?

The revival 10 years ago used just a table and three chairs to indicate the apartment. Otherwise the set was a semi-circular arrangement of black platforms that resembled a Greek amphitheatre, with a backdrop suggesting the shipyard.

I mean sometimes minimalism can be pretty. Like with "All My Sons," but the set Yankee is describing sounds pretty awesome.

Looks like they did change the atrwork to showcase the Liev and Scarlett

John Lee Beatty is doing the scenic design.. I'm sure it wont be minimal
