M. Spouzic: I saw it and will be happy to give you my take on it. We were sitting in spit territory (2nd row from stage). I could smell the grease paint, see the fake smoke, watch the fingers flying over the guitar strings, and could see the tiny microphone wires that went up through the hair and down the guys necks. Heaven! I love the theatre! I felt that I was sitting right there in the Sun Recording Studio listening to the "greats". In my opinion, the strength of the show is in its m

I saw the last concert of James Barbour's Holiday Concert at Bill's Gay Nineties this Saturday. It was a perfect blend of cheerful Christmas music and the marvelous songs that soar up into the stratosphere as J.B. can do so magnificently i.e. "Oh Holy Night". Was than an Ab??? James also gave us a lovely guest, Michelle Wolf; read "The Night Before Christmas", and told some funny, funny stories. Bill's G. Nineties is an antique of a warm, intimate venue that lends itself to Christma
