I saw the preview last night and enjoyed every minute of it. The cast consists of 5 women (4 of them telling their individual
stories) and all of them singing songs that vary from poignant to up-tempo country. The actors are unique and wonderful (Lauren Kennedy, Sally Mayes, Teri Ralston, Gina Stewart, and Liza Vann) every one can sell a song!
There was a tiny spot in the middle of the show that I thought had too much dialogue, but just as I was beginning to think that, they switched back into the music.
There is an enthusiastic, talented band behind them that makes it all flow.
I think this is a toe-tapper -- good for a lot of laughs, good country music and good acting. I'd see it again in a flash!

Posted: 2/14/10 at 5:17pmI was there this past Wednesday and I couldn't disagree more. Absolutely terrible from start to finish. The performances were not good, save one, and the music was boring and repetitive. I'll be curious to see what the critics think.
