I've been experiencing the inexplicable logout issue for several days now, and every time I log back in, that infernal "Topic List" is enabled again and has to be turned off. This is happening on multiple computers and in different browsers, so please stop pushing the delete cookies/cache suggestion, as it's clearly not a panacea for this site's ills.

Phantom Tour Cast Nov 15

Phantour said: "When [the chandelier] falls, and it's a pretty decent speed, it falls straight down above the heads of center orchestra again. It stays in that low position all through intermission and rises up during the Entr'acte."
This reviewer from Baltimore says the chandelier doesn't fall at all:
"My one disappointment with this touring production was that the chandelier, very large and ornate with hanging crystals, did not really fall but only popped a few bulbs, discharged some sparks, and jiggled a bit on its chain. The breathless fear of audience sitting underneath and others watching it almost strike them was a missing treat from the original show."
This was my experience with the "reimagined" tour from several years ago. It sounds like they're using that setup for the chandelier, and the rest of the staging is from the current London production.

Yeah, that absolutely refers to just that."
I wrote back to make a distinction between the performance route and the pre-show queue out in the street, and they replied:
"We do not currently have heated coverings outdoors so we suggest you dress warmly. We will endeavor to get you into the building as quickly as possible. In the

Yeah, that absolutely refers to just that. I hope you go but if you are uneasy in the cold, this show will be around for years to come (I assume that's the plan?), so if you're cool to wait until next Spring, I'm sure it will still be around."
We've already got tickets for 11/21, so we'll see what happens.

I emailed the show about this and received the following response:
"We indeed have preparations and plans in place to ensure that weather does not impact the safety or comfort of our performers, crew, and audience. While we cannot give you specifics at this time, rest assured that no matter the weather, your experie

Sutton Ross said: "Why would this show specifically have heating and tents outside for their patrons? What is the difference between this show and any other show you're waiting to enter in the Winter? I'm just curious here."
I'm accustomed to a fairly lengthy arrival window for typical Broadway shows, e.g., 30-45 minutes. This affords some leeway in the event that one is held up due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., traffic, public transportation, or

Please explain exactly what about the statement, "Yes, we know, but that's not what we're talking about"

Thank you for not referring to me as a "phan".
Now that Maria is gone, Mackintosh has free reign to hack away.

No one questioned whether you said it; the only question is why you felt the need to say something so rude and condescending.

I've been wondering about this as well. I'm extremely cold-averse.

That's exactly how it was done in the previous "reimagined" tour.

I saw photos posted to social media by attendees of the Baltimore tour stop, and they suggest that the chandelier does not rise from the stage, but starts the show already hanging over the orchestra like it did at the Albert Hall and during the Cameron Mackintosh "reimagined" tour. Is this correct? If so, it infuriates me that they refer to this production as "The Brilliant Original".

Worth it? Do they vary at all from show to show?"
"Worth it?" depends on what you mean. No separate ticket is required for these performances, so anyone in the park at the time can attend (although seating in the open-air theatre is limited). Dining packages are offered, but not required. This is basically free entertainment for anyone visiting EPCOT on a performance date.
