The show's run at Papermill was completely sold. The show is a brand. It will find a tourist market, if even for a short time.

Oh,you mean Ryan Kasprzak. Yeah, the effect was NOT the same, but where else are you going to plug a larger character man into that ensemble?
Again, I'll reiterate: If it's not your kind of show, that's fine. Don't knock the show, especially in a tryout. Give them a chance to fly or fail on their own. I sincerely believe it has an audience - particularly among fans of the TV show, and they are out there in force.

I've been somewhat of a lurker on these boards for years. I've never felt compelled or interested in commenting, because the armchair critics and "professionals" always seem more interested in tearing something down than they are in fostering it or even giving something the possibility of growth. It's an out of town tryout for a reason.
