Stumbled upon this page which says the production will begin previews Dec 31st, 2018 on Broadway following its world premiere at Paper Mill. Does anyone know if this source can be trusted? After all, Jeffrey Finn is attached as a commercial producer.

No production would start previews on New Year's Eve.
Yeah that seems an odd time to start previews and then open.
Looks to me like they're on a Broadway trajectory for sometime in 2018, but dates are still up in the air, so that page notes the very end of the year as a cutoff.

The dates that were up when I posted earlier have since been pulled...but I do agree a Dec 31st first preview makes no sense. BroadwayConcierge, I think you’re right!
The show was pretty much panned at Papermill. I don't think it will be coming to Broadway unless it has some pretty foolish producers.

The show's run at Papermill was completely sold. The show is a brand. It will find a tourist market, if even for a short time.
^This.
Completely agree. Look at A Bronx Tale. I thoroughly enjoyed The Honeymooners at Papermill. I was never bored and found the performances to be Tony worthy. I would definitely see it again on Broadway.
