Landmark on Main Street’s Conversations From Main Street Series begins with An Evening with Jeanine Tesori on Wednesday, September 15th at 7:30 PM. FREE ADMISSION!
Jeanine Tesori is a Port Washington native who has written four Tony-nominated scores for Broadway: Twelfth Night at Lincoln Center, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Caroline, or Change, and Shrek: The Musical. Jeanine will be interviewed on stage by her former High School Shakespeare teacher and retired Schreiber English Department Chair, John Broza. It will be an evening of intelligent discussion with points punctuated by beautiful piano arrangements by Jeanine!

On Saturday night Carol Woods, who was just last week playing Chicago's Mama Morton on Broadway, will replace an ill Odetta as the headliner in An Evening of Spiritual Song at Landmark on Main Street in Port Washington at 8 PM. The program also features the Gospel choir The Shepherd's Singers.
Carol will be full of soul and blues singing tunes like Ervin Drakes "I Believe," "God Bless the Child", songs by the Winans, a Ruth Brown classic, and so many more. It's going to be a fab

I hope that some Long Islanders can tell me where the best place to post/advertise our upcoming May 7th Donna McKechnie show would be. She's getting rave reviews down south for her show, which is her and would really like to target Broadway fans who may want to see this sort of show on Long Island. I am the Executive Director of a not-for-profit community center on Long Island that houses a 425-seat theater. We have an active program of our own 9 months a year, and rent the theater on a regular basis during that time as well. However, July and August, our beautiful theater is vacant.
I'm hoping to find a win-win situation where a group may be interested in finding very affordable rehearsal space and possibly tech their show on sophisticated audiences. Does anyone have any i

GEMINI QUINTOS (Dance Captain) has played a munchkin in "The Wizard of Oz" and Young Fan in "A Christmas Carol" at the Theater at Madison Square Garden. She portrayed the role of Kate and was the understudy for Molly in the 20th Anniversary Broadway production of "Annie."
