re: Magics heading to Spamalot!

I bought my stuff as I got in... The theatre opens 45 minutes before the start of the show. There was a good sized crowd that balled up around the opening. Once inside a small stand is setup to your left. Take a bee line to it... like I did. I did not look for any information, but there is a shop that is near by... you may ask the seller. My wife saw some information as she got in line, and told me about it, as we sat down. By the way there was no magazine made for the early shows... There may b

Well, our Christmas was dressed up... but at 18 degrees and a light snow did not stop us. I did see a few that were as dressed but the majority was stock Chicago attire. Be your self, but be comfortable. It was warm in the theatre.

Yes, Sara just blew us away... Reminds be of the time when I saw Dralion in St Louis a couple years ago. The show we saw originally on Bravo. The singer (sorry, I have to look him up) was not featured on the TV version. His voice was so dynamic... Sara's is almost as astonishing.

We sat dead center row C 106 for Christmas show. I wish no body says anything but, I do recall the last week or so of the Chicago showing may not have what everyone who has replied is hoping for.

If it does happen, Great!!!

As for your seating you are going to be happy (Big grin!) to see them up close... but there are some acts that are just too difficult to watch due to their complexity… signs, stage props (clouds also), dancers and various other things. I found even row C a

Well, after reading everyone's feedback... I have to say that it is more or less what you expect before you see this show. Yes you have a good idea, but to get carried away and be let down by what you did not expect. Also there are those like me or my wife that have a parallel sense of humor... sounds strange but is the only way I can explain it. My wife and I share a lot of different types of humor. But there are instances if you will that we are far a part. Some of which can be explained by op

Yes, you are very much correct on your view of the play. I think if anyone is to enjoy the non-norm content, they must have an open mind. I can say that most of the humor is Python but there are many pokes and jabs to all that is stage.

I enjoyed the 1st part more than the 2nd but thought the 2nd pulled everything together, which can give most none Python fans an ending to a mess of mishaps if you will. Like all stage performances Spamalot is a sugarcoated version of insanity. People

Well, we just got back from the Christmas showing. I have been a Python fan since I was 8 in the 70's and my wife not as much but can sit though a movie the second time around to say that she can finally get it. The movie in my opinion lacks in many acts, the clarity as Spamalot (you don't need to view it again to get it).

The only negative I can really say is; this is the first few shows, and everything is not yet perfect and concrete... I am sure there will be additional parts added t
