Has anyone figured out where to buy the album on vinyl? It's too perfect not to own.

THIS. This times a thousand! I hope this show is the sleeper hit it ought to be, because it’s been a good long while since a new, original musical with an original score left me buzzing like this.

@Anshel2: I’m sorry to report that the SDC table had THREE of them. Maybe they didn’t all sell and some will end up back there next year. They were in a bin way off to the side and rolled up, so you had to know what you were holding in your hand because it would’ve been impossible to unfurl it.

I had a great time, as usual. I took a red eye back from a wedding in LA just to be there at the start. I had to miss it for travel last year... Never again!

There were definitely some interesting curiosities if you kept your eyes open, but they are increasingly few and far between. A lot of it is just luck and being in the right place at the right time.

How does the lottery loser offer work? Do they send you a code with the email telling you that you lost the lottery or something?

Are you on your phone during the show? Talking to your seatmate? Digging through your purse? Crinkling your M&M bag? Eating a giant salad from Europan?

No? Then I don’t give a **** about what you’re wearing.

Window Card Help Needed!
 Apr 12 2018, 07:01:54 PM

"It upsets me to think I saw In The Heights twice on Broadway and had the opportunity to purchase the window card twice."

Oh man, if I had nickel for every time I said that about a window card I ended up buying at a huge markup on eBay....

I'd also recommend looking at the BCEFA Flea Market in September. I've found the craziest, rare, out-of-print window cards just buried in piles.

Broadway - Photography, Window Cards, and Insights for a 1st Timer

Definitely pay a visit to Triton Gallery! It’s a true NYC treasure and Broadway landmark. It’s been the premiere place to buy a Broadway window card for decades. Your Mean Girls card from there will absolutely be authentic. In fact, sometimes Triton has window card exclusives that you can’t even get at the theatre.

Also, if you’ve never been to Sardi’s, you absolutely must go. You’ll have a blast photographing the thousands of famed caricatures covering the walls. There’s little left th

I love a good window card thread! So glad that this resurfaced. :)

I don't have one dedicated wall for displaying my window cards. I've got nine archival frames for them throughout the apartment that I purchased about ten years ago from Hollywood Poster Frames. I wish I could display my entire collection, but now that it's ballooned into the multi-hundreds, it'd make for some pretty crowded walls. I found these wonderful art portfolios on Amazon that provide terrific storage and protection for my collection. I'll cycle different cards into the frames as the mood strikes me.

Right now, on display are window cards from Hamilton at The Public Theatre (signed by the full original cast), Hamilton Broadway opening night, Chicago 1975 Philadelphia pre-Broadway try-out, Angels in America (world-premiere of parts one and two) 1992 at Mark Taper Forum, Once On This Island OBC, Ragtime (signed by the full OBC), Into the Woods (signed) OBC, Company OBC, and Merrily We Roll Along OBC.

Bruce Springsteen to Make Broadway Debut at the Walter Kerr - November 2017

@RussT2, what time did they start selling merch outside the theatre?

Was lucky enough to receive an offer code. The process of purchasing was surprisingly easy. I opened separate windows for four dates I was interested in and committed to the page that loaded first once the sale commenced.

I could only spring for the $75 tickets, so I was shocked when I was able to get two row A balcony seats. I'd think that the balcony is all they're selling at that price point, so the "cheap seats" are pretty limited. The balcony seating is

Understandable why she's not really engaging in the stage door business. I'm sure it's a zoo.

I'd love to get her to sign the windowcard, but I'm not putting a forty dollar poster in the mail.

A Doll's House doesn't currently have one. The guy at Triton used the word "yet" when I called to inquire, so fingers crossed.

Personally, I'd vote for neither. I would give it to "Drive It Like You Stole It" from Sing Street, or "I'm Still Here" from Miss Sharon Jones!

I got a notification that I lost for Wednesday, but no email about Tuesday. When I go to the app, under my lottery entry, it still says, "Check back soon."

Has anyone received any word on the Tuesday performance?

Broadway Flea Market 2016

Another great year at the Broadway Flea, full of amazing finds! It took a bit of digging, but I scored some real treasures.

Jennifer Holliday stopping by was such a treat. My BF biked my OBC Dreamgirls windowcard all the way in from Queens. He got a good workout and I got that baby signed. Got a great pic with her too! :)

My haul this year:

-Paul Newman signed 'Our Town' Playbill

-Very rare 'Hamilton' OBC opening night windowcard wit

@Jarethan Might be going for more than you're willing to spend, but here's an eBay listing for a Drat! Playbill. I hope you're able to complete your collection. If you're in New York, I'd highly recommend checking at the Broadway Flea Market in September. They have thousands of Playbills there every year, and I always find the most random things.

@nicnyc: I bought a rush ticket to Salesman during previews and got a great seat in one of the boxes. Just before curtain, Mike Nichols himself took an empty aisle seat just below me with his notepad. Not only did I get to enjoy that unforgettable production, but I got to look down and watch my hero figuring out how to further shape it. One of the best nights of my theatregoing life.

@jv92: That's such a lovely story. The opportunity tell an artist whose work has truly touched our lives how much we admire them is such a precious gift.

@smidge: That night was only the second preview, before the accidents, and the lawsuits, and the mountains of bad press, so none of us really knew what to expect. It was shocking, and dangerous, and laugh-out-loud ridiculous. One of my absolute favorite nights in a the
