It is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time. I couldn't close my mouth for the first 3 minutes. Everything about this show is incredible. As a stage manager I see a lot of faults in shows, and I could only see things that will improve as the show goes on.

I'll post a real review later.

Love the pictues. I should be seeing Friday. Only really going to see the set/costumes/lighting. And Laura Michelle Kelly. But thanks for giving me a hint of where to look for stuff!

They could have done better, but they could have done a hell of a lot worse.

I'd love to see her do any big role. She's amazing and really sweet. And she was great in Little Women!!

When it was in LA, there were two in the number that takes place in a saloon. I know there are a few more though.
re: How Long till Hairspray in London Flops

I think it will be fine. Its a fun show to go see. Since Mama Mia is such a huge hit over here, I think Hairspray has the same fun energy, and people will love it.

Amazing poster. Although I don't know if I want to stare at it in the station. I can't wait to see the production though.

Good to hear that they liked it. I got a tour or the National today and saw Tonya Pinkins getting some flowers fromt the desk. I just need to get tickets to see it!!

When I saw the show in London the kids I talked to after the show were fine with the number. They just wanted to know how the dolls got bigger and how one climbed out of the dollhouse.

Its an interesting show to watch. But sort of like a car wreck, you can't help but watch. I am sad about the Irish girl who got kicked off. Webber has no taste. We'll see how long the show lasts, or how long the "leading lady" lasts.

re: Hilarious Comments Overheard By Tourists and Audience Members

I didn't hear this, and it wasn't on Broadway. But my parents went to see Marcel Marceau in San Diego when he was on tour (probably before I was born). And a woman seated near them asked very loudly, "Isn't he going to say anything?"
