Do they make you turn your phone off before it goes in the pouch? Otherwise, one could hit record before it goes in the pouch.

Do the audience members dancing on stage during intermission count as immersive? Plus, I think they call people on the phone at those tables.

Does the audience being on both sides of the stage make it immersive? Oklahoma!'s Circle in the Square town hall presentation was described as immersive.

I agree the preshow is absolute chaos when trying to use the restroom. You don't want to be rude and cut in while they are dancing with the people standing around, but you also need to get to the restroom so you can get seated ASAP. I also thought people seemed annoyed with dancers on the bar while waiting for a drink but that didn't bother me as much.

I sat in K 11 yesterday, it wasn’t very obstructed at all. You can’t see when one of the characters first enters the stage (so you have to wait about 10 seconds for them to walk more center) and the piano is a little to the left so it’s a little obstructed during that number, but you can still see the woman playing. It is next to a wall so you might be squished if you are over 250 pounds.

you can still see all the scenes that take place on the left.. but most of the action is centered or  right (where the stairs and beanbag/guitar is in my pic). 

I would go for it!!

I did mobile rush last week and sat center in the very last balcony row. couldn't see their facial expressions but it is a small theatre and still amazing seat. Great view for the finale. 

FWIW, I have had luck clicking the mobile rush tickets button right at 9am which pops up to click the ticket # (1 or 2). No luck in the past when I clicked it a few minutes before 9, which pops up a countdown screen that automatically transitions to the ticket # screen. 

Mary had a fat suit for “That Frank” in the 2019 Signature Theatre show.

In 2023, when Frank asks if she lost weight (referring to her ex) in the next scene, I thought maybe that was a double entendre leftover from the old version. It’s a jarring comment nonetheless, audience gasps. 

Does anyone know when Corey Mach is going on as Franklin? I would like to see it.

Ahh! Thanks for posting this. Erika Henningsen sounds amazing in the Happy Day In Hell song! Her ability to emote an "I Want" song.. yup we'll be tuning in.

OK I loved this. Went in with low expectations and was thrilled. The set + Bobby + Rachel in Act 2 were giving Eric McCormack and Laura Bell Bundy in The Cottage.

Fritz and the Soldier's duet reminded me of "Fight For Me" from Heathers. IDK why, the tune I think. Micaela Diamond was iconic. Is her character written as a champagne socialist in the movies? It seemed very Brooklyn DSA 2016 but perhaps is a timeless stereotype.

Theatre is VERY COLD!! Dress warm. Show was good, sad. Julie steals her scenes, I get the hype. 

The Playbills were a disappointment. Director Friedman introduced the show. I thought it expanded seamlessly and I enjoyed the louder audience. The OVERTURE is longer. 
the lighting is nice on frank holding the applause recording at the end of “it’s a hit!”
