Oh yes, Gavroche's death. At that point, I was just *bawling* and trying not to make loud choked up noises that would distract my neighbours (and embarrass myself in the process). This is my 15th (if I count correctly) Les Miz production, and it hits me every time.

I saw the same performance you did, and agree with everything you said. I started crying after "I Dreamed a Dream," I'm still crying, and I'll probably still be crying tomorrow on the plane back to Vancouver.

I've seen several productions of Miss Saigon, and I particularly loved the original Broadway cast. Lea Salonga and Jonathan Pryce were the best actors for their roles. The part that tugs at my heartstrings the most is the scene prior to Kim's death when she sings in counterpoint to John, Ellen and Chris about Tam's future.
