Playbills & Flyers for Sale
 May 27 2009, 10:45:46 AM
Not sure if anyone would be interested in buying these, but a friend of mine told me it could be worth posting here...

I'm moving next month, so I need to get rid of a lot of stuff that I don't need, and that includes extra Playbills and such that I've collected over the years.

So for sale I have:

+ 1 Legally Blonde Playbill (June 2007)
+ 7 Legally Blonde Flyers (June 2007)
+ 1 The Homecoming Playbill (February 2008 )
+ 2 Les Mis Playbills (August 2007)

Oh I forgot to mention - yesterday: Curtis and Patti were both out. Curtis' understudy was pretty good though. Although he slipped during "Whenever You're Away from Me." No one missed a beat though, so props to them.

And it sounds like Mary's cabaret is quite awesome.

Sat onstage for yesterday's matinee and the show was really great. It was my third time seeing it, but first time seeing Whoopi.

No cue cards yesterday, and I only noticed a few times when some of the other cast members had to guide her a small bit. Her biggest oops moment was during "Evil Woman." She said something along the lines of "YEA! I FORGOT THE WORDS!" but she played it off really well and the audience laughed/cheered/clapped.

Overall, I thought Whoopi was pretty aw

Hey all - heading into the city tomorrow (not to see Xanadu sadly =( ) and I was wondering if the theatre was selling the programs yet? I can't remember when someone said they were supposed to be there.

I had it up, but I had to restart my comp to install my sound recorder, and I, of course, can't get it to load at all now.

I can't from the life of me get anything to work... not even the PlaybillRadio site. Ughhh.

They didn't have barricades set up for TLM after the matinee on Wednesday and it was a bit of a zoo. It's so easy to find though.

WonderRobbie - where were you sitting onstage on Saturday night?

I was with a group of 5 friends and they all wanted to see shows I'd already seen, so I figured I'd see Xanadu again and got a front row seat off of TKTS. Dunno how I got that lucky.

But yea, I was reading the thread and saw that you were there Saturday night, so I figured I'd ask.

I think I may have enjoyed the show more from the front row by myself than I did the last time I saw it heh.

Did she stage door when she was in it?

As bad as I've heard she was, I would've liked to have seen it anyway hahaha.

Do we have any info on shows that are opening soon, like "The Homecoming"?

^^ That would suck. I have tickets to "The Homecoming" on the 24th - 2nd row center! - and I've been looking forward to it for quite some time.

Oh well if there's no performance, not a whole lot any of us can do.

Ok, so it's totally not funny that this woman got through the barrier..

But I got a visual image in my head of her getting through and then being like "WHOO HOO!" and then just getting completely tackled by security.

I think I read somewhere, someone on here said they should do like the Apple Tree stage door and rotate people.. and that really worked there... I thought that'd be a good idea, but I guess there's just too many people at RENT.

Has RENT been up on TKTS anymore? When I was in NYC last Wednesday there were tickets on TKTS for the matinee, and it was about 12:30... thought that was interesting.
