A Message Direct From Hermes For The Xanadu Fans..

Hermes has given me a message to pass onto the fANADUs and Du Crew and anyone else who is a fan of the show...

Clio/Kira and the other muses are hard at work creating the ultimate souvenir program for Xanadu which will be sold at the theaters. Filled with pictures, commentary and other special features, it's destined to achieve artistic greatness.

But they need the help of you mortals! A special section will be dedicated to the fans and that's where YOU come in!

The muses are requesting photos and comments from you.

They have specifically requested:

WonderRobbie as Kira.
Jaystar in his Thalia costume.
The girl who wore her Xanadu t-shirt at the parthenon.
The girl who was at Xanadu on Halloween and sat in the front of
the house in her pink Kira costume.

and any other pictures/comments from the fans which celebrate Xanadu.

Not all pictures and comments can and will be used - and obviously by sending them in you are giving permission for them to be used if selected.

So that's what this thread is for. Please post your fan comments and photos and the muses will come down and get them from this thread only. Comments and discussions not specifically for the muses and this request will be deleted

When posting an image - please upload or link the the best quality/resolution so that if chosen, it looks good!

I don't have an picture, but I can make a comment:

"Wihout doubt, the most fun-filled show to hit Broadway in my 55 years of going to the Great White Way. Rarely have I seen a show that left the audience this happy!" Not really much, but expresses how I feel.

Xanadu is one of those shows that you go to and you sit there and you just feel like you've never had so much fun in your life. When Xanadu was first announced to be coming to Broadway, tons of people on this board [BroadwayWorld.com] groaned and groaned about yet ANOTHER movie-turned-musical and some made light of it becoming a complete flop like the original film. But what the original film lacked that the musical has: wit and camp that is undeniablely fun to watch and one AMAZING cast of people: Whether your onstage with them, in the orchestra or way up in the mezz, you experience all that is Xanadu, and if you don't leave dancing and singing, then you need help. Xandau The Musical is amazing, no seriously.

My sister and I had fun taking a whole bunch of Xanadu-inspired poses on our trip to Athens in early Septemeber. It seemed appropriate. Here's a rather silly one of my sister:




Xanadu is fabulous fun! Thank the gods I have the cast album now since I'm over here on the West coast and can't see the show every week (cause I probably would if I could. )
