re: Tarzan Article w/ Pictures Covers NY Times Arts & Leisure Section Apr 15

I'm telling you, I KNOW for a FACT that the creators wanted a more lean look...more of a swimmers build. And I don't think they had any intention of staying faithful to the movie. Creators in general get bored (think of any composers "variations" on a theme) and I imagine they wanted to bring about a new vision to the story. If viewers want a faithful reproduction of the movie, watch the DVD...

I'm thinking that maybe he doesn't look like YOUR version of Tarzan should. But you didn't cast this musical. Think about it, would a man who grew up in the jungle with no access to steroids, creatine, and tons of steak really be that beefy? I know for a FACT that the creators wanted a Tarzan with a swimmer's build, not Mr. Olympia. Try to be a little more open minded.

I've seen some info about Josh from those of you who have seen him in Tarzan, but can you give me more specific info about his performance? Voice? Acting? Overall impressions? He is someone I know personally (in fact his head shot on some websites is one I did a few years ago). I'm coming to see the show this summer and am really excited that Josh has this tremendous opportunity. All info will be appreciated!
