It’s just weird to ask about something that isn’t happening, what’s not clickin’ 

Don’t be delusional, this ain’t happening. 

That’s what frustrated me the most about this. What was fearless? What was groundbreaking? Yes, representation is important but so is producing quality over a vibe. Let’s call it what is was, a campy inoffensive musical that wasn’t particularly great to begin with. Lets not pretend is was anything more than that

District, Maryland and Virginia. 

An extremely unsubstantiated rumor. A return was absolutely not happening 

Funny enough, after a pretty mid Spring musicals on Broadway, the one I want to go back to is Once Upon a One More Time. At least I had fun there! 

I’ll never forget a hoard of women fighting over the Marquis rear orchestra to be included in that damn Conga line. What a mess of a show. 

Not comparable. Title of Show caught on with theatre people, this is an acclaimed commercial run that’s been buzzed about in major publications and across audiences. 

For those who hate the Lortel Balcony, just you wait for the Lyceum balcony! 

Oof. Hope that was funnier in your head than in execution :-/ 

It’s a subscription house, so same rules don’t necessarily apply for averages. But interesting that Paulson is packing it in, but McAdams isn’t.

and no, this isn’t an invitation to reach and discuss Lempicka. 

Refreshing not to have that black facade! 

With an amazing cast (Jinx Monsoon and Charlotte D’Amboise), it’s still one of the best shows on Broadway. 
 

With a bad cast, it’s dreadful. But I’m willing to put up with its dark days for its shining moments. 

7-10 years for an original musical? Sure. 7-10 years for a film adaptation with some notable talent behind it? No. 

I think the comedy is quite broad actually. Don’t see why this wouldn’t succeed in a large off broadway/small Broadway house. 

Truly. It makes me wish the worst for this show when all I did was find it forgettable, not horrid. 

Always makes me laugh when surefire hit trilogies are bumbled. This could have been one of them. 
 

I could see this working as a musical, but suffers from the “didn’t the movie just come out” recency bias in my eyes.
