2013, 12:16:26 PM
Bare opens tomorrow at the White Plains Performing Arts Center. We have had a few fantastic tech runs and are so excited for you to see this production. The regional premiere of Bare features a mix of NYC and Westchester stage actors and an amazing 8 piece band filled with Broadway musicians. White Plains is a 30 minute train ride from GCT, and the theater is 2 blocks from the train station. I'd say that unprovoked bullying outweighs multiple promo postings on the scale of what's inappropriate. However, in looking at ClydeBarrow's profile and comment history, it is pretty clear that unprovoked bullying is his thing. Feel free to call me annoying. ClydeBarrow can feel free to continue harassing people from behind the anonymity of his computer. And I will continue to post about my show, since we can all just do and say whatever we want, apparently.

Dude, you need to consult a dictionary. I'm hardly a shill. Clearly I'm in the production and have not made any effort to hide that. What's off-putting is being attacked by you for no good reason. This message board is filled with people selling playbills or obsessing about Alice Ripley's propensity to sing sharp notes and not play 8 shows a week. Many people come to BWW to let others in the community know about shows they are in. I understand that you are entitled to your opinion, but there's r

Lol at broadwayguy2! You make a good point. Our production is the licensed 2007 version, which is identical to the 2007 album (no Staffird Arima fingers in this one). We have a superb cast, hope you can make it out to see us!

anybody going to see Bare in white plains? Jul 6

WPPAC is not a summer camp. This show is cast with adults, many from NYC who travel to white plains daily to rehearse. You people have no idea what you're talking about. What is the matter with you? BARE got a nod in Playbill.com because it is a regional production in a professional house. Many people, including Damon and Jon, are very excited to be attending performances. So everybody calm down.

BUMP! Are any of you fine theater people coming to see this? For every one of the hundreds of messages on this forum that bashed the revival at 2ST and asked for a production of the original, I'd think you'd be more excited. This is a professional production. We are a 28 minute train ride from Grand Central.

The White Plains Performing Arts Center (WPPAC) and Harrison Summer Theatre will present the Westchester Regional Premiere of the 2004 version of the musical BARE: A Pop Opera from July 26-28, 2013. BARE: A Pop Opera is directed by Jeremy Quinn with musical direction by Stephen Ferri, choreography by Lexie Fennell Frare and lighting design by Jamie Roderick. The cast includes Travis Amiel, Richie Barrella, Sarah-Teresa Brown, David Cronin, Colin Earyes, Kaitlin Ferrara, Natalia Fogarty, Kerri George, Terri-Ann Gordon, Aaron Michael Krueger, Darian Marchetto, Kurt McMannus, Triona O'Callaghan, Paulette Oliva, Thomas Oliverio, Sydney Parra, Analise Rios, Adam Salazar, Stephanie Savino, Melissa Trainor, and Adam Welsh. Bare - A contemporary rock musical, BARE follows a group of teens wrestling with issues of identity, sexuality, and religion at a co-ed Catholic boarding school. Provocative, raw, and unyielding in its exploration of how today's generation navigates the tightrope between adolescence and adulthood, BARE examines the consequences of baring a soul-or hiding it from those who matter most. Music by Damon Intrabartolo and Book and Lyrics by Jon Hartmere. BARE: A Pop Opera will be live on stage July 26-28, 2013 (Friday & Saturday evenings at 8PM; Sunday at 7PM).
