I heard they are doing the original version which is great because i was not a fan of the new one that was off broadway this year. This is my favorite show ever. Thoughts?

Really? It's a theatre day camp. It's not professional theatre. It's not even community theatre.
That message from SVF is what we like to call a shill. The only thing they've ever posted is about a production they're putting on. Wouldn't trust a word of it.

I'm rather familiar with White Plains' PAC. They present high quality, professional shows. Is this a partnership with some kind of youth theatre? I'm confused. And this article doesn't clear it up for me, unfortunately.

WPPAC runs a summer camp. This is a youth/amateur production, not a professional one. The actors (or their parents, really) probably have to pay for the kids to be in the show.

How did they get an announcement, by Andrew Gans, on Playbill? Oof. So deceptive.

WPPAC is not a summer camp. This show is cast with adults, many from NYC who travel to white plains daily to rehearse. You people have no idea what you're talking about. What is the matter with you? BARE got a nod in Playbill.com because it is a regional production in a professional house. Many people, including Damon and Jon, are very excited to be attending performances. So everybody calm down.
Yeah, you guys are stupid heads!

WPPAC is a regional theatre in the westchester area much like westchester broadway etc. Some shows are CO PRO's where they split costs with other producing organizations aka bare but its still there show with there staff etc. They have a summer camp in the summer that for kids but they are doing once on this island AND Into the woods jr. Not sure where you got a summer camp is doing this show... So certainly not kids with mom and dad paying to be in this show.
