Last Minute Trip to NYC - need recs  Dec 24 2015, 09:53:37 PM

Thanks everyone!  I'm going to prioritize Spring Awakening, The King and I and School of Rock and then see what else I have time for.  I saw The Color Purple on a planned trip here last week (was the only thing I got a chance to see) and Fun Home when it was at The Public.  I attempted The Curious Incident last year but was not in a good place emotionally that night so I left in the middle of the first act.  Might give it another go.

Last Minute Trip to NYC - need recs  Dec 23 2015, 08:16:49 PM

I used to live in NYC and once I figured out how to work TDF/rushes/lottos I was able to see everything.  I moved away about a year ago so I'm not able to see everything anymore.  I booked a trip from Dec 24-29 JUST to see shows.  Does anyone have any recommendations for must-sees from the newer offerings?  I'm more of a Broadway/Musical person but would absolutely consider plays and off-Broadway.  I've seen everything that's been around for more than

Your Broadway Crushes  Sep 22 2015, 06:23:52 PM

Steve Kazee is hands down one of the best looking men I have ever seen in my entire life.  i also enjoy Andy Karl, Steven Pasquale, Norbert Leo Butz, Aaron Lazar.

I was told the Last Ship is closing in January  Dec 30 2014, 05:52:24 PM
I won the lottery tonight. Very small crowd. I suspect almost everyone who entered won. They were also offering Lotto Loser seats for $40.
On The Town lottery  Dec 30 2014, 05:51:05 PM
I won the lottery for the matinee today (finally shared on FB and finally won). I used a referral code so the ticket was free (by the way, if anyone needs a code mine is NTFBG). My seat was in row Q but the 2 rows ahead of me were empty so I moved up. Great view, amazing show.

Broadway Grosses: Week Ending 7/27/14  Jul 28 2014, 10:30:59 PM
I keep hoping that Steve Kazee will return to Once. A long shot I know, but I never imagined that Constantine would return to Rock of Ages so I'm keeping hope alive!

Along with Machinal, my favorite plays of the season!
FIRST LOOK at Jersey Boys movie  Jun 11 2014, 12:37:15 PM
I went to the NYC Premiere and loved it. But I am a huge fan of the show and the film didn't stray much from the show. I was always on board with JLY as Frankie but not too sure about the other actors. By the end, I was sold on all of them! It was a little long (over 2 hours) but the time passed quickly for me.
Grrr....I'm torn  May 31 2014, 04:18:27 PM
I've seen all four and my favorite was Act One. But I think you really can't go wrong no matter which one you choose.
